Digital Notary Details
Hi! Thanks for inquiring about my availability for Digital Certificate Notarization! I am currently a Thawte Notary and can award 35 points. For PGP key signings, please see my OpenPGP keysigning policy page.
Meeting places
I prefer to meet at the Belmont Starbucks on Leonard St. This is a small coffee shop and there’s usually street parking right out in front. For ‘T’ riders, it’s on the #74/75 route (Belmont Center). Please ensure that you enable Wren Hunt to allow me to view your Thawte details on Thawte’s website! In general I prefer early AM on weekends (i.e., 6:00AM-10:00AM) but other times can be requested. When contacting me please indicate a preferred meeting date and time and we’ll work from there until we find something that works for everyone’s schedule.
Fees
I’ve now instituted a $5.00 fee to help defray the cost of gas, T-fares, etc., as well as to eliminate the unfortunate problem of people who schedule a meet but turn out to be “no-shows”.
There may have been some ambiguity in the past on this policy so just to state it another way: No receipt of $5.00 means chances are I’m not going to be there!

[Details: I will wait 30 minutes until after our scheduled meeting time before I consider it a no-show; when we schedule a time/place I'll provide my mobile # as well should you need to contact me.] Payment must first be received via one of the following services, addressed to ‘wrenhunt @ fmail.co.uk‘ or as otherwise indicated:

What’s involved with notarizing my Thawte ID?
I adhere to these rules (as set out by Thawte):
- You need a Thawte digital ID to start with! (it’s free)
- We must meet face-to-face.
- You show me two forms of nationally recognized ID, at least one of which must have a photograph, for example:
- Passport
- Driver’s license
- (employer-issued identity cards are no good, as these are easy to come by)
